What is TAPIGAMI?
TAPIGAMI is a contemporary art form created by Sacramento artist Danny Scheible. First attracted to masking tape because of its versatile, accessible, and malleable nature, Danny used the unlikely material to create large-scale installations and create an accessible and interactive art form.
TAPIGAMI is designed to engage and educate artists of all ages. Would you like to bring TAPIGAMI out to an event or exhibit? Or perhaps, you would like to do-it-yourself with TAPIGAMI’s step-by-step how to books.
Bring TAPIGAMI to you!
TAPIGAMI workshops are a wonderful way to learn a new skill and open your imagination! After the workshop, many begin to view every day objects not for just their purpose, but also for their potential. Designed for all ages, TAPIGAMI workshops are as much fun for kids as they are for adults.
TAPIGAMI has been taught at:
Pixar Animation Studios, Emeryville,Ca
The Exploratorium, San Francisco, Ca
The Craft and Folk Art Museum, Los Angeles, Ca
