Our introductory workshop is designed around the idea of social play and interactive learning. Participants will learn all the basic Tapigami skills and techniques for creating sculpture out of tape. Interacting with tape through play allows our students to have fun while exploring the depths of their own imagination in a truly unique method for creating art.

Tapigami workshops are a wonderful way to learn a new skill and broaden your imagination. They are ideal for creating and strengthening social bonds. After the workshop, many begin to view every day objects not for just their purpose, but also for their potential. Designed for age 7 and up, children younger than 7 can do it, but they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Tapigami has been taught all around the world, including:

Pixar Animation Studios, Emeryville, California
The Exploratorium, San Francisco, California
The Craft and Folk Art Museum, Los Angeles, California

Museum of Science and Industry, Paris, France

Victoria Albert Museum, Shenzen China

KIITO Arts Center, Kobe, Japan
